Five bars along Assumption Road were suspended and closed Feb. 27 for violation of the Smoke-Free Baguio ordinance. City Permits and Licensing Officer Allan Abayao said the closure stands until they show a tangible solution to correct their violations. Another batch of nine bars all in Salud Mitra barangay were also padlocked for the same offense. They were allowed to re-open after five days for adopting corrective measures. - PLD photos
