2017 Senior Citizen Officials for a Day (SCOFAD).
The City Government of Baguio under the leadership of Hon. Mauricio G. Domogan, City Mayor through the City Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Ms. Betty Fangasan, Department Head II and the Committee on Social Service, Women and Urban Poor chaired by Hon. Leah Aromin Farinas in partnership with the different Senior Citizen Associations has conducted the oath taking and turnover ceremonies of the Senior Citizen Officials for a Day during the flag raising ceremony with the office of the Liga ng mga Barangay as the host. It was conducted as part of the 2017 Elderly Month Celebration with the theme: "Pagkilala sa Kakayahan, Ambag at Paglahok ng mga Nakatatanda sa Lipunan".
